Welcome to West Georgia Networks
Written by Stan Gay
Wednesday, 30 November 2005
West Georgia Networks is dedicated to the providing the businesses and users in the western half of Gerogia and the eastern portion of Alabama with quality consulting, installation, and training of secure networks. A network is constructed combining or separating all of the devices within your office of home into a defined addressable network of hosts. The secure part of the process is enabling only essential communication and making sure the bad things on the internet stay outside on the Internet and away from your internal computers.
The only figure that is larger than the 81 percent of home PCs that lack critical security applications such as anti-virus, anti-spyware or firewall software is the 83 percent of home PC users who falsely believe they are safe from online theft of information and identity, according to AOL's latest Online Safety study.
